What is the reason for the failure of LED backlight?

Backlight circuit failure can also occur due to damaged electrical traces on the circuit board. If electrical traces buried in the board are inadvertently cut—for example, trying to secure the board with too-big screws—the backlight circuitry will not power the backlight LEDs.
